Giving Credit Where Credit is Due

Well it is no secret to anyone who has ever read this blog with any kind of regularity that Aliant often gets on my nerves. Goofy things have happened with my Internet, phone, and bills. I often find I wait on hold forever only to talk to someone who doesn't know anything or can't speak english. SO... when I called yesterday to switch my mobility plan I was mentally preparing myself to be angry but was plesently surprised. I didn't have to wait on hold at all! I got right through to some girl and she asked me my phone number, I get that from a lot of girls... no I don't. Hey here's a question, how come whenever you call these joints, you have to punch in your number before you can talk to anyone, and then as soon as you get someone the first thing they do is ask for your number? Weird. ANYWAYS, I went to switch my plan to something that would fit us a little better and cost us a little less and she switched it up no problem. She said I may notice my bill looking a little goofy the first time because half would be on my old plan and half would be on this new one. I replied, "It can't be any worse then our last bill." Because we went way over in our minutes due to not having a home phone. She asked what was wrong with it so I explained that it was just us, that we went over our minutes. SO she activated a plan for the last month that knocked almost 80 BUCKS off my last bill! I couldn't believe it! I was so impressed with their customer service. So way to go Aliant, I have to give credit where credit is due because you gave me credit when it was not.

80 bucks... sweet!
